Litigation

Overview

The Center for Law & Religious Freedom advances the Center's mission by representing clients in test case litigation in the following areas of advocacy:

  1. Protecting religious student organizations against the misuse of nondiscrimination rules to interfere with their membership and leadership decisions;
  2. Protecting faith-based social services from government discrimination against them and from the misuse of nondiscrimination rules to interfere with their personnel decisions;
  3. Protecting healthcare professionals against pressure to participate in healthcare practices that they find personally objectionable, i.e. violating their right of conscience, such as abortion;
  4. Protecting religious schools from government discrimination against them and from the misuse of nondiscrimination rules to interfere with their personnel decisions.
